vest up

Dress: Pinky Otto Vest: Zara Name Necklace: Etsy Shoes: Zara Clutch: Marc Jacob Sunglasses: Gucci

Hey Guys,

I hope everyone had a great 4th! Did you do anything exciting ? Leon and I were out walking the city for a bit and it was so humid. The weather here in the east coast has been erratic lately, its hot and humid most of the day, then when its pouring rain and it gets kind of cold! This vest is perfect for the summer weather, its light enough to throw over for an added layer & adds the cool factor to a dainty lace dress. What do you keep warm with it when the weather cools?

its hammer time... nino brand launch

Hey guys,

Last Thursday I attended a fashion brand launch, Nino Brand. Bela Shehu, the designer behind the brand hosted a beautiful party with Philly’s most fashionable. It was nice to see so many familiar faces and meeting some cool new ones. ;)

Nino brand consistent of architectural pieces with a palette of black, grey and white. I could see myself sporting one of there effortless but yet edgy pieces. Check her out here!

Being that I am petite, I paired the oversized and dropped crotch harem pants with a fitted vest. In my opinion, clothing should be paired with their opposites. If you wear something tight on top, pair it with looser bottoms. If something is overtly sexy, like a mini skirt. I tend to pair it with a flowy or long sleeve shirt. My rule of them is opposite attracts! (and make things more interesting!)

Hanging out with Jacqui from Burgundy Whisper.

What do you think of the look? Would you ever wear hammer pants?

da na na....

90's throwback

Happy Hump Day,

I can not believe that the 90's are recycling already! I am a 90's baby (grew up in the 90's) so of course, this totally excites me! Clothes dyeing/tie dye (back!), pointed toe shoes (back)! and drum roll please..... overalls or jumpers are totally back, back, back!!! Being that I am a total dork for overalls, I have been searching for the perfect pair for months now! Oh Zara, I love you. You make my life so easy. Yup, I picked a pair of these denim overall at Zara and paired it with ankle strap heels to take the boyish factor out. And to give it more of a fashion statement, I added a vest (and yes, you probably already notice they are back to).

P.S. In the 90's I own overalls in a array of styles, from denim, corduroy, velvet, shorts and the list keeps going!  I'm pulling out a pair of white linen overalls from my teenage years and dyeing it! Stamp Dork on my forehead because I fully admit my addiction to this comfy throwback! weeee!
