Chicago!!!

The perfect blend of NYC and Boston has got to be Chicago. Last weekend I spent a few days in the Windy city visiting some friends. It was my first time in Chicago and I was blown away by the booming flagship retail stores on Michigan Avenue. From Chanel to Bottega Venetta and everyones favorite Euro brand, Top Shop. It was alive, the air was crisp and food was great!  Though we didn't have a chance to go, Chicago even has a lake in the middle of the city. So while you can have the hustle and bustle of city life, you can also enjoy a mid day getaway, sipping drinks and digging your toes in the sand. 

We took an architectural tour of Chicago by boat. I would highly recommend this tour as we learned a great deal about Chicago's beautiful and historic skyline. One of my favorite buildings was the Champagne Bottle Building (my official name for it, ha)!   

What do you think of my new boots? I was beyond excited when I snatched up these Chloe boots for over 70% off! I have been looking for several season for the perfect pair and I think these boots will be my go-to all season! I couldn't resist and took these puppies out for a stroll the day after labor day!
