This past Friday, I co-hosted a blogger event with Sabir of Men's Style Pro. It was a social networking event for local bloggers and the boutique also held trunk shows for local designers, LeLe Tran, Common Wealth Proper (a custom tailored suit company), and IX Style (a sandal company that has been featured in Vogue amongst other well know magazines and publications).

Boyfriend Jeans have been a staple in my wardrobe for the last several season! Not only are they more comfortable than a pair of skinnies but they can make a outfit look relaxed and effortless. As I mentioned, my rule of thumb when dressing in the morning is typically pairing opposites. Since the boyfriends jeans have a more relax feel, I paired the look with a tailored and texturized blazer. I almost never match shoes with what I am wear but somehow the brocade blazer and pumps matched each other perfectly, of course I broke up the matchy-matchy-ness with a stripe shirt.

Promise myself that I have to do it the day of or things just fall into the "pile of doom". The top half is going to be a crop top, but I have yet to come around to it.
